For the past several months we have been working towards opening our first stand alone store at the new marketplace of America Mall. The mall was to open last labor day weekend but due to the city dragging it's feet when it came to inspections, the date for opening kept getting pushed back. Until now that is. We received word this morning that the last two inspections were done yesterday and that everything has been green lighted for an opening on Oct. 15th with the official grand opening two weeks later during Halloween weekend! In keeping with that, we just got some new stock in just in time and will finish setting up our place there this week. So we hope that this is just the first step and we look forward to seeing you all out there.

This is really gonna be our year
Not only is business up, but we are opening up a place in the new Market Place Of America Mall out on the east side of Columbus come labor day weekend. There will be a total of 600 vendors, and kids fun center as well as a movie theater & a food court. We are very much looking forward to being there and hope to see everyone there.
As always, I have been on a design binge. And here are a few of the latest. As always they are already on site so drop on by and check them and the rest of the new ones out.

Kind of weird when the most of the orders are for dead guys
Well, as you all might have guessed, May marks the start of our busy season around the old dungen here. But this May has been the strangest in the past 12 years that we've been doing this. For the first time most the the shirts that have been ordered in a months time concern dead people! 160 shirts in all. Of course the month isn't over and the busy season is just starting so it might change. But it just seems ever so slightly weird to be doing so many memorial shirts in so short a time span.
Anyway, heres a new weed design for all you stoner's. Enjoy.

A small victory but still a victory
As some of you may know, my mother, who is 83 and recently had a stroke, has been fighting National City Bank for the past five years over her house. On April 22 I again met with the banks lawyer at the courthouse in the mediation office. The bitch, and believe me thats putting it nicely, refused to even go into the meeting room to the amazement of the mediator. I told her to sit down and shut up and then produced a copy of the payment records that the bank had finally sent me after 5 years of asking for them, and challenged her to find any just cause for this crap. I then informed her that a report filed by the banks own contractor advised them to cease the foreclosure and then got in her face and reminded her that she was not the only one that had a law school background only mine was in criminal law and that if they didn't cease this harassment I would file suit for that as well as fraud. On the 30th, I received the court papers stating that had had indeed asked that the case be dismissed. It may only be a little victory, but if more people would take a stand maybe by standing together we could take back this country from the greedy once and for all.
And to that end, heres a new design, hope you all like it.

To those who might wonder
We have starting today shut down the original Freaky Tee's site in favor of our brand new one. I had planned on doing it on April 1st but why wait being that everything is set on the new and improved site. I hope that it will be to your liking and that you will be as loyal to it as you were to the old one.

Crockett is dead, Long live Crockett
When I heard the news today that Fess Parker had died I started thinking about years past. I like alot of people my age and older had a coon skin cap and could sing the ballad of davey crockett by heart. It seemed much more simple back then. Of course in my case, my cap wasn't store bought due to the fact that my uncle would go coon hunting on a regular basis and he was the one that had it made from one of the coons that he himself had shot and skinned. I don't think about back then often, for after a certain point live wasn't that great. In fact if there ever was a poster for a dysfunctional family we were it. And maybe thats why I developed such a strange sense of humor.

RosettaStone™ | Technology Enhanced Memorial Products
I came across this on aol today while about to check my email. I have for a good number of years been involved with my family history and anyone who has tried to do such research can testify how frustrating it can be. But after reading about this I can indeed see where it could come in handy providing that the person had the foresight to have such a thing installed with the tombstone.

Another day, 4 new designs

Today has been a very productive day with 4 new designs finished and posted to the site. At the moment sitting here watching Who framed Roger Rabbit waiting on the old lady to get home, she's closed the past few nights. Have no idea whats on tap for today, It's 12:49 a.m., but I do know that I still have some new ideas for designs to hash out this weekend. At right is one of the new designs, I already have an order for it on a shirt. Will also add it to the other categories as well.

So far so good

Well, did two shirts yesterday. One Ash color and the other Steel and they look fantastic. This new gel-ink really improves the look on on white shirts. Of course I intend to add now even more colors, and saw a system on condes sight just for black shirts, but will wait before I would order that for it needs a copier to work. At left is a new design that really sums up a lot of people here.

A New Year, A New Begining?
So far this year has been one of frustration. Granny was let out of rehab about 3 weeks ago and is slowly driving us all mad. There will be a hearing in mid Feb. concerning her house, which I really doubt that she will win. And providing that She doesn't drop dead within the next 5 months, I hope to have the hot dog business up and running by June. I have also been busy with new designs and a whole new catagory, Confucius Says. On the upside, I have found the solution when it comes to printing black shirts and it is good.
